How do I...

Log in to applications?

Access college applications through:

  1. IVC Home Page under Portal.
  2. Saddleback Home Page under Logins.

 Use your college email address and password to log in.
Change my password?

There are three ways to change your password:

  1. When logging into the Applications Portal:
    • IVC Home Page under Portal, select Can’t access your account? or Forgot my password from the SSO login screens.
    • Saddleback Home Page under Logins, select Can’t access your account? or Forgot my password from the SSO login screens.

  2. By browsing to this location: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.

  3. From a computer on campus, login to Windows. Press Control-Alt-Delete, choose “Change Password” and follow the prompts.

Log in to Canvas?
  1. Access Canvas through:

    IVC Home Page under Portal.

    Saddleback Home Page under Logins.
  2. Use your college email address and password to log in.
  3. Select Canvas from the Applications Portal.

NOTE: If you just enrolled/registered for a class today, it will take 24 hours for your Canvas account to be activated. Your course will appear on your Canvas Dashboard on the first day the course is set to begin (date listed in class schedule).

Log in to MySite?
  1. Access MySite through:

    IVC Home Page under Portal.

    Saddleback Home Page under Logins.
  2. Use your college email address and password to log in.
  3. Select MySite from the Applications Portal.

NOTE: On February 3, 2025, a new MySite student information system was introduced and will be used for Fall 2025 registration and all future activity. The current MySite will be used for Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 registration and activity. When you click on the MySite link in the Applications Portal, it will give you two options for login:

  • Login 1 - "Spring 2025, Summer 2025"

    Select this option for activity related to the Spring 2025 (or earlier), or Summer 2025 terms. You will be directed to login to the current MySite student information system.
  • Login 2 - "Fall 2025"

    Select this option for activity related to the Fall 2025 term (or later). You will be directed to the new MySite student information system.

Log in to college computers?

Use your college email address and password to log onto any college computer.
Access my college email?
  1. Access college email through:

    IVC Home Page under Portal.

    Saddleback Home Page under Logins.
  2. Use your college email address and password to log in.
  3. Select Outlook Web App from the Applications Portal.

Change my preferred name and pronouns?
  1. Go to your college apps portal

    IVC Home Page under Portal.

    Saddleback Home Page under Logins.
  2. Use your college email address and password to log in.
  3. Click the MySite card
  4. Click the Fall 2025 option when prompted
  5. Click the Open General Dashboard under General Self-Service Card
  6. Click Personal Information
  7. Click Edit under Personal Details to make changes
  8. Click Update to save

What if I...

Don’t know my Student Number?

To protect your privacy, you must visit the Admissions & Records office and provide photo identification to retrieve your assigned student number.

Don’t know my Username?

Your username is the first part of your College Email Address, before the @ sign. Example: JDoe99

Need more assistance?

If you are unable to log in to MySite, try resetting your password as per the instructions above or contact technical support at each college:
